From the cornfields of the midwest to sunny California, I have lived in states all across America. And during our travels, I was blessed enough to meet people from all walks of life and learn from each and every one. I’ve also developed new skills along the way.

Beginning with dance at age 4, I also delved into jazz, ballroom and folk dancing. I eventually learned to play piano and most of the woodwind instruments, playing with community bands across the country and in a recorder consort. I’ve been wife, mother, grandmother; teacher, martial artist, martial arts instructor, energy healer and Reiki Master. I’ve also tried my hand at writing fiction and hope to publish soon.

In 2004, I was diagnosed with breast cancer on my 51st birthday. Having fought my way through surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation, I feel I can offer some guidance to those who are facing this terrible disease.

My family and I have always tried to live life to its fullest and truly believe in shaping our world to suit us through lifestyle, environmental awareness and belief in a higher intelligence.
